The origins

The winery was founded in the early twentieth century by a family bound to these hills. Since then we have tended the same vineyards, convinced that great wine is born first in the field: low yields, hand harvest, patient ageing.

    Winegrower and owner

    Third generation of the family in the vineyard. He has led the estate since 1998 with a simple idea: low yields, hand harvest and patience in the cellar.

    Marco Silvestri

    Winemaker

    Winemaker since 2015, after stints in Burgundy and Alto Adige. Spontaneous fermentations, large casks and as little intervention as possible.

    Vineyard manager

    He coordinates the harvest crew and the year-round work among the rows: pruning, mowing, picking in small crates parcel by parcel.
